Hello friends, today I was let go from my job of 7 years because of my political views. These views were screenshot from my private profile and sent to corporate. They said because of what I believe that they will no longer employ me. I have never had a write up, never been spoken to about performance or ever had an attendance issue. I was often asked to work overtime and to cover shifts. I also managed twice (1 year and 4 months) as a favor for the company.

Now I have been completely caught off guard and am looking for work.

I was a bartender and very used to making my money daily and budgeted as such. I’m looking for some help to cushion the in between time as I find a new job and adjust to my new wages. I’ve already been on the hunt and rest assured I will not be leisurely while trying to find work. Asking the community for help is not what I prefer to do, but quite frankly, we have bills and they will not stop. We have nine animals who I also need to feed. I’m sorry to ask and I appreciate anything y’all can help with. And I promise to continue doing community work, even if I don’t have the financial backing to do the same things I used to.
