Jess and Dennis Need Your Help

On Thursday, November 14th our home in Lincoln Park was broken into and robbed of most of our belongings. They stole everything valuable: computers, tv, PS4, Apple Products, and all of my jewelry. Our kitchen is empty, as they stole all of our countertop appliances, a knife set, and even dishes from the cabinets. They also stole my wallet, all of the food from our fridge, suitcases and bags were stolen presumably to carry out the other items. They even stole the pillows off of our bed. 

After living here nearly a year, we believed we were very secure in this area. We were just starting to have the apartment fully put together and it was just beginning to feel like a home after a years worth of work. It is now torn apart and we have to start all over. Not only do we need to install a security system, but the entire place needs cleaned and repairs need to be made.

We’re asking for your help (but only if it does not impede your own financial security). While possessions can be replaced, we will never be able to fully recover the feeling of safety and home that was stolen from us. Thank you.
