On February 24, 2014 the Music Industry lost a legend, and the world lost a kind and generous soul. Those of us who knew Jerry Brenner miss him still, and we speak of him fondly and often. There's a lot to speak of: his incredible capacity for caring, his compulsion to offer help wherever and whenever needed, and his unmatched generosity.
It is in this spirit that the Brenner Family has been awarding an annual music scholarship in his name to a deserving Swampscott High School graduate so that they may realize their dream of pursuing a career in Music. Thus far, since Jerry's passing, four scholarships have been awarded.
The Gerald N. Brenner Music Scholarship Fund can only continue with the generous support from family and friends like you. Keeping Jerry’s spirit alive in this way has served as a wonderful tribute to this special man. Jerry surely would have been delighted to know that your contributions helped shape the career paths of the past and future recipients of this award.
