Jerry Weston Trudell sadly passed away on December 2nd, 2020. He was 88 years old.
This go-fund me is a collection effort for funds to be purposed to the memory of Jerry.
Jerry was beyond an amazing man, who touched many lives in a very profound way. Those that know him will consider this a vast understatement.
These funds will primarily be purposed to create several benches at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot. Specifically the benches are to be donated and used at the annual Host Fest held there each year. The Host Fest is a annual festival to celebrate Scandinavian culture and specifically Norwegian heritage.
Jerry and his surviving wife, Joann, have attended the Host Fest for over 14 years. They thoroughly enjoyed attending each year and all that it entailed. Including but not limited to, the long motorhome drive from Montrose, Colorado, the week long parking lot camping experience, all the people they were introduced to and of course, the countless festivities that occur there.
Each year they would return from the Host Fest, dedicated to go back the following year and ultimately began inviting others in their close circles to attend with them.
The Trudell's would greatly appreciate any efforts to keeping the Host Fest going strong each year, along with any contribution toward these memorial benches.
Thank you for your consideration.
