It's surprising how expensive funerals can be. Unfortunately, my dad passed away on March 2, 2023 due to complications after a heart attack, and my siblings and I were not prepared for this sudden loss.
  
My dad did not have life insurance due to the fact he lived on a fixed income and the choice between medication and eating out-weighed the cost of life insurance premiums.
