Jerry Reynolds Medical Expenses

"If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things (I Corinthians 9:11)"?

Many people have heard about the recent Covid-19 diagnosis Brother Jerry Reynolds received last Friday (10/22/2021), but are unaware of some other events surrounding his diagnosis. When he went to the hospital to receive an infusion, his blood pressure was 40/0 and he was immediately rushed to the ER. Over the next few hours, his heart rate and blood pressure were unstable and measures were taken to elevate both. Thankfully, these measures were successful, but his heart continues to be an area of very serious concern. Nearly a month before this incident, Brother Reynolds visited a cardiologist and surgeon at Vanderbilt for consultation and received concerning news about the condition of his heart. As of today (10/26), he is still at the Med Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and may be transferred to Vanderbilt in the coming days.

As in this case with every major medical incident, the hospital expenses, travel costs, new medicine (which has been estimated at $600 per month), and temporary loss of part-time income (for his wife, Ann) will be costly.

Brother Reynolds has spent His entire life giving himself to the cause of God and pouring himself into other people. How many lives have been touched by the wisdom of his counsel? How many lives have been changed by his Godly instruction? I set $10,000 as a financial goal because I am unsure what the full costs will be at this time (I am assuming they will amount to more in the long-term). Brother Reynolds has helped so many...I am thankful that we can have a chance to give back!
