Jerry Parks, January 9th 2024 - Support the family

Jerry Parks was a generous friend, loving father, and caring husband. He passed away suddenly the evening of January 9th due to complications from long-standing medical issues. Our mom, Emiko was with him at home in Orlando, FL. He was 70 years old.

Jerry will be remembered as a dreamer and charismatic storyteller with lots of hope and optimism for a better life, for both the world and his family.

Jerry had several health challenges over the years, battling diabetes for over 35 years and related kidney disease since 2018. He always kept fighting through the various challenges and kept up a good attitude, often using humor and telling jokes.

The family has a modest life insurance policy which will cover a simple service and cremation. Support the family with travel expenses, lost wages, meals, and other miscellaneous and unexpected expenses during this time. Or just send a note with a memory or story you have. Thank you very much for all the love and support at this time.

With the church Seonghwa tradition, women typically wear white or light attire and men wear suits with a white or light tie. But if you don't have this, please come as you are!
