Jerry May leg amputation

I, Kelly, am Jerry’s daughter and I appreciate you taking time out of your day to read Dad’s story. 

Jerry May served in the air force for 8 years. After that he became a state trooper for 25 years. He is a man who has lived a life of service to others. Jerry and his wife adopted two beautiful twin daughters back in 1986. Sadly, his wife passed from cancer back in 2015. Today Jerry needs your help.

Back in February Jerry had to have his right leg amputated. It was an amputation below the knee but unfortunately it did little to stop the infection. They had to go back and amputate again, several more times, eventually amputating it at the hip. Because of this the doctor said there would be no hope of using a prosthetic leg. He will never walk again. What he needs is a motorized wheelchair. He needs the doors in his home widened to accommodate his wheelchair, the hallway needs to be widened, ramps need to be built and he needs someone to be there for him initially as he learns his new routine and his limitations. Insurance won't cover everything he needs and the bills are piling up. We may never be able to pay them all but hopefully, we can pay enough to get by with a little help. He has been through a lot, and we hope with your donation we can give him the best care that he deserves. Your donation will help relieve some financial worries and help him and his family pay family bills and provide him with  everything he needs in order to be comfortable with his new lifestyle.
