Hi, My name is Tami, I am funding for my cousin Jerry (BFJ-iykyk). We are looking for help with expenses while he is unable to work. Jerry, who was only 49 at this time, wasn't feeling well for several months without a diagnosis. Then one night in October 2022, he drove HIMSELF to the hospital while having a heart attack and they immediately airlifted him to Rochester. This is when he had his first surgery, a triple bypass. Recovery was going well at home, and then he ended up with a major sepsis infection and was rushed back to Rochester to spend 3 additional weeks there. The doctors completed surgeries every other day opening and closing his chest to clear the infection. The infection ultimately destroyed his sternum and was removed. He needed plastic surgery after this to repair his chest wall and overlap the muscles and needs major physical therapy. He is back home again recovering, but the doctors do not believe he will be able to completely recover from this and do the work he has done all his life as a carpenter.

Without being able to work, he is unable to provide for himself and his family. Jerry has 2 children still at home Cashton 11 and Layna 14. The funds raised will help pay his living expenses, trips to and from his appointments as well as any expenses needed for the kids. Jerry has been very active with coaching baseball, basketball and football and looks forward to getting back to helping the kids.
