My name is Melanie Murry and I'm starting this GoFundMe for my little brother Jerry (Jay) Moore Jr. Jay has been diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, specifically Hepatocellular Carcinoma. It is unresectable, meaning it can't be removed. He is not a candidate for a transplant. He has been given approximately one year to live.

Jay is retired and lives on a fixed income. He has Medicare which pays 80% of his medical bills. The other 20% is his responsibility. Cancer treatments are VERY expensive. Each chemo treatment is just shy of $90,000. With all the hospital stays, chemo and doctor's appointments, the amount he owes is staggering. We are opening this GoFundMe with an initial goal of $25,000.
