Help cremating my dad and saving his house
My father Jerry Hildreth aka "Animal" passed away suddenly on January 22nd, 2021 from a heart condition. First off I am needing help paying for his cremation and a memorial service. After that I need financial help refinancing the house, that me and my father shared, into my name. Me and my father shared everything: pets and bills, vehicles and motorcycles and the up keep they needed, etc. He had also recently gotten a loan to pay for the home remodels me and him did together - which is now my responsibility to pay. I was not financially prepared to take all of this on right now. My dad taught me to never give up and that nothing is impossible, so I’m here asking for some help. Once I get through the cremation, home refinance, and paying off that loan I know I’ll be ok and can afford the regular bills and such. I’m not good with words - I actually have a friend helping me write this - but I want to say thank you to anyone that can help me get through this so I can give my dad the ending he wanted (to scatter his ashes in specific places) and to keep the house we shared and have built together over the years.
The cremation is $1300 and change but I don't have any idea how much the memorial stuff will be or how much it will cost to refinance the house because I’ve never bought a house before. I’m asking for $5,000 because of not knowing the exact amount I need... people are telling me it will most likely be a lot more than that but I don’t want to be greedy.
Jerry Lee Hildreth, was born August 11th 1961 in EI Paso, Texas to Royal Edley Hildreth and Jimmie Lou Cutright. Jerry Hildreth enjoyed hanging out with his daughter, working on cars, fishing, playing practical jokes and hanging out with his 2nd family in his bike club Parenti of Texas who knew him as "ANIMAL ' He enjoyed most of all having a good time and helping the people he loves with whatever he could. Jerry Lee Hildreth departed this life at the age of 59 on January 22nd, 2021 due to a heart condition.
He was preceded in death by: His mother Jimmie Lou Cutright, father Royal Edley Hildreth, sister Linda Hooper.
Jerry Hildreth leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Denee Alynn Rush, step sons David Bruce Fredrickson II and Allan Joseph Fredrickson and sister Debby Lye. As well as his granddaughters Jade Fredrickson, Sophia Fredrickson and grandson David Bruce Fredrickson III and a host of cousins and friends.
Jerry Hildreth was a man who never believed in the word "impossible.' it may have been covered in duct tape by the end but it would get the job done. He was a loving father and a great friend he will be missed more than words could ever express.
Rest well Dad we will miss vou.
