Jerry Hensley's Memorial Expenses

As many have heard the shocking news, the sweetest man passed away yesterday unexpectedly. If you are from the town of Boiling Springs, NC, I am sure that you knew Jerry Hensley in some way or another. It could have been a smile and a wave of his hand while he was cutting the grass or keeping the streets of Boiling Springs in pristine condition. Maybe you saw him planting and watering the flower beds around the town. He took pride in making sure that once you entered Boiling Springs where the new sign is, that the flower beds were always weeded and looked their best. I know besides missing him personally, I will especially miss riding down main street knowing that he hung all the decorations or that he watered all of the beautiful blooming flower pots hanging on the poles. It's the little things that mean so much when they are gone. The man lived and breathed this small town. He loved interacting with the entire community. I could go on and on about what type of man he was, but I think that anyone who saw his work ethic and the pride that he displayed daily…no more explanation is needed. He will be greatly missed by many.

With all of this being said, we have ALL suffered a great loss but none as much as his wife and family.

I am posting this funding page to help with the unexpected cost of funeral and burial expenses. If you feel led to give, it would be greatly appreciated…but if you are unable to do so, so close to Christmas, please just keep the family in your prayers.

It's going to be extremely difficult for his wife. They have never spent a night apart. Thanks for reading this long post, and thank you for whatever means of contribution you can give.
