Jerry Cannon Medical Help

He is in my phone as Smiling Jerry Cannon - a selfless, joyful servant of the Lord and

fellow people. He has never met a stranger. He has that friendly, yet optimistic way about him

that it takes to listen to the needs of others and then act upon these needs with optimism and

positivity. In a sense, he is a friendly, motivating missionary who has no sense of time, yet

somehow manages to be timely in many ways!

Recently, Jerry has encountered a true test of his servanthood as infections along with

complications (including the loss of parts of each foot, temporary dialysis and some heart

issues) have slowed him down considerably. As I write this, he is on Day 13 of his hospital stay

and doctors have advised him he could remain in the hospital for an additional 3 to 6 weeks.

This on-going stay might have stopped his mobility temporarily, but the positivity and

motivation are still alive and well!

A number of us, who have either been touched or perhaps seen his works in person, feel

that it is time to help Jerry in his time of need.
