My nephew, Jerrick Moore, was in a horrible car accident the night of July 28th, when he was t-boned by a Jeep. After being taken to the local hospital, he was life flighted to Ohio health Grant Hospital where he had to have emergency surgery - they determined he had 3 broken vertebrae, 3 broken ribs, they had to remove a portion of his skull to deal with swelling of his brain and brain bleeding. The next day it was determined he had broken vertebrae in his neck, as well, and at some point has suffered a stroke.
He is one of the sweetest kids -  hew to be a senior this year at Meadowbrook High School and was studying Auto Mechanics at the local vocational school; he plays the saxophone, has dreamt of being a mechanic for Nascar, and loves the city of Charlotte, NC. 

The funds raised will go to help with his medical bills that won't be covered by other insurances, including but not limited to, his surgeries, physical therapies, back brace/halo, and emergency transport.
