Hi, my name is Krista Manfredi; I am the theatre director at Athens High School in Troy, Michigan. One of my students, Jerrel Willis, was in an auto accident on August 15 while traveling back from a performance in Chicago. Due to the injuries sustained in the accident, Jerrel is recovering in rehab from back surgery that will allow him to walk again. We are raising money for medical and travel expenses incurred by Jerrel's family. Please support this kind, thoughtful student and his family through this difficult time. We miss having his smiling face in our hallways and look forward to celebrating his recovery as soon as possible.

Jerrel is a junior at Athens High School. He enjoys singing, dancing, and acting. He has recorded SMART bus commercials and appeared in a YouTube series, "The District." Before his accident this summer, he had the privilege of touring with Ryan Brown from "Raven's Home" as a backup dancer.
