As owner's at Morritt's Resort, we all know Michelle and many may have also met her husband, Jerome. They are two of the most caring and giving people that I know. I am lucky to call them my very close friends. On Thanksgiving Day 2019, Jerome received his cancer diagnosis, which was an extremely aggressive form. He began his chemo treatment in Cayman and then traveled to Miami for 2 months of radiation treatments. They returned to Cayman for 4 weeks, 2 of them in quarantine before they got a medical evaluation flight to Miami for his surgery. This is stressful enough and then add the Cover 19 issues. While Jerome's surgery was extensive, it was a success!!! He is still in the hospital recovering. They will remain in Miami until he is cleared by his surgeon to travel home to Cayman and until they can get a medical flight. While their insurance is covering a good portion of the medical costs, the balance of the medical bills, flights and accommodations are adding up. They are not sure how long Jerome will be unable to work. 
  Michelle and Jerome are endlessly thankful for all of the messages, thoughts and prayers they have received during this trying time. As many of you know, a journey like Jerome's comes with financial stress.
