Jerome F. Pickett (a.k.a. "Bear," "Batman") was called back home to the presence of his Holy Father the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2021.
All who knew Bear can attest to his kind hearted helpful nature. To have known him was to love him. He never was to busy to impart some of his wisdom to all who respected and admired him.
Bear always made a point to look out for for his brothers and sisters, in and out of uniform. It's a testament to the kind of human being he was that so many people mourn his loss by endeavoring to find the best way to show him that same care in return, eager to see his work live in our own actions reflecting his. We would be blessed to have an impact on so many people as to leave a legacy a fraction as meaningful as his.
"Be Strong and Courageous, Do not be afraid, Do not be discouraged, For the Lord your GOD will be with you wherever you go " Joshua 1:9
To that end, we seek to alleviate his beloved wife, queen, soulmate Gina of all concerns other than focusing on the memory of the love of her life, Bear.
