If you are from Bridgeport, WV or the surrounding area, it is likely that you may have heard of Jerome Axton’s battle with and win over cancer the past few years. He has been fighting an infection in his leg and recently underwent his 13th surgery on it. Unfortunately, that was not the last surgery as he is preparing for an amputation surgery in the upcoming 6-8 weeks. While his spirits are high, this has been no easy journey.
