Hello & thank you for visiting this page. My name is Jermaine. I am 37 years old, i have an awesome wife and 3 beautiful kids.
At the age of 30 I went to the doctor for what I had believed was a bad cold, i soon found out it was much worse than that. After taking my vitals, I was rushed to the emergency room immediately from there. The Doctor told me that I had congestive heart failure. I was hospitalized for a little over 2 weeks. I was told that my heart was functioning at 25% while a normal hearts rate is 80%. I was diagnosed with an enlarged heart along with congestive heart failure, High Blood Pressure & Diabetes.
I experienced my 1st heart attack at the age of 33, then another heart attack 1 yr later. The next year I had 2 strokes but Ive still continued to beat the odds. At 34 years old in February I was told “it is highly unlikely” that I’d see my 35th birthday and i needed to get my final affairs in order with my family...
In 2015 I was being admitted into the hospital every couple of months. I was admitted into the hospital 22 times that year. I THOUGHT DEATH was coming for me. Currently I have not been admitted into the hospital in 14 months. That may seem small but it’s a huge accomplishment for me.
I went to the cardiologist April 3, 2018 and he prescribed a medication that he said was my best chance but last hope of strengthening my heart and prolonging my life. My last heart function test showed that my heart function had fallen below 20%. I again was advised to make final arrangements.
After Much conversation with My wife, Spiritual advisors and family. I have decided that going away to a weight loss camp is my best plan in order to live a full life.
At this point in my life I have decided to try again. I have attempted many different diets , lifestyle changes but to no avail. I’ve realized...
I CANT DO IT ON MY OWN.
My Wife & I did some research and found a weight loss camp that specializes in helping people in my condition. The professional recommendation was that i attend their weight loss camp for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. I know this will be the beginning of something new and amazing. Having this time to reset my heart and my mind, with professionals, away from the toxic comforts of my normal life, I’m confident I will gain strength and the ability to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
I NEED YOUR HELP TO LIVE!
I am asking everyone that I know to partner with me financially so that I can live and not die. I believe in God and his grace and will continue to stand on his promises for my family. I’m willing to put the work in. This opportunity will take me away from my family for sometime but in exchange will also add many years to a life that was diagnosed to be short.
To be transparent with you, asking for help especially when it comes to money is not easy for me. I had an ignorant & prideful saying that i used, “I’d rather Die standing up, than live on my knees”. In my maturity I’ve realized that asking for help when you need it is standing up.
No donation is to small. All of the funds will be going into my camp cost to help strengthen me.
My wife and I have taken the initiative to close our savings & pay for 2 weeks upfront. If you would please partner with us to help me make a huge change that will not only affect me, but my wife, kids, family, and friends.
