On October 3,2025 our family suffered an unthinkable tragedy. My grandson, Jermaine Durbin was senselessly taken from us due to an act of violence in Washington, D.C. He was only 17 years old a bright, loving soul with so much life ahead of him.

No parent should ever have to bury their child. My daughter, is now facing the unimaginable pain of losing her son, (her only child) while also managing the emotional and financial burdens that come with such a devastating loss.

We are asking for burial assistance during this trying time.
