Hello friends and family!

I'm so excited to announce that next semester I will be participating in a nursing internship abroad in the Philippines! Now that I am officially an RN, I cannot think of a better, more rewarding way to celebrate than giving back to an underserved community.

I'll be working at a hospital in Davao, Pilippines for four weeks. The trip is being run through International Volunteer Headquarters. I'm making the trip with one of my close friends from nursing school, and we will definitely be living simply (no hot water!) We'll be heading out mid-January. That is just about two months away!!

I know the holidays are right around the corner, so I'm asking for donations in place of gifts this year. All funds raised will go towards the expenses of this trip (airfare, meals, housing, etc.) Y'all know volunteering is something I am so so passionate about, so any small donation will help. If you don't want to donate,  any prayers and well wishes for safe travels would be so appreciated!
