Many people have graciously offered to help. So we are setting up this fund. What they need most right now is just the everyday basics: toiletries, basic clothing items, etc. They want to try and get the girls some of their familiar things that were lost in the fire to help them cope with the loss. The bills for hotel stays and eating out are also adding up, and the insurance money will be a ways out in coming.
The best way to help this family right now is by donating to this fund to help them with these things. We have set goal of $5,000 to get them off to a start, but as you can imagine, the total amount they will need will surely far surpass that. Any little bit helps!
Disclaimer to meet Go Fund Me security requirements: I live in Colorado. I am administering this fund for my relative, Jeri Leise, and her family, who lost their home in the Santa Rosa, CA fires in October of 2017. The funds are meant to assist them with getting the everyday they need at this time. Jeri Leise will be accessing and withdrawing the funds.
