As many of you may have heard, our community recently lost someone truly special — Jeremy Andrews. For those who really knew Jeremy, he was a unique genius who struggled to fit into the box that the world often expects of us. His passing this past weekend has sent a shockwave through all who knew him.

Many of you have reached out asking how you can help. In response, I’ve offered to collect donations to support his mom and brother during this incredibly difficult time. While a meal train is a common way to help, due to allergy concerns, financial support is a more practical option.

Your contributions can go toward takeout meals, activities to help occupy the surviving son’s mind, unexpected funeral expenses, or anything else that might ease their burden right now.

Every cent will go directly to the grieving mother and brother of Jeremy. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers — I can’t imagine the depth of the pain they are going through.

And most importantly, please respect their privacy as they grieve. Sometimes the greatest support we can offer is space and compassion.
