Jeremy's Back Surgery and treatment

Hi,
My name is Jeremy Croner, I’m 23 years of age and I feel like someone has pressed the pause button on my life for the last 3 years.
I’m staying positive and focused as I take on my next chapter and undergo a full disc replacement to my Lumbar Spine.
For the past few years I’ve been unable to work, play sport or perform majority of activities including day to day tasks. This is due to a number of symptoms including pinched nerves, severe back pain, ongoing migraines and numbness to the right side of my body; to only name a few which leaves me with constant excruciating pain that excludes me from everyday life.
Fifteen months ago, I underwent a Microdiscectomy surgery; with only having one week pain relief post op, then to my surprise the disc re-bulged and was deemed degenerative. In hoping that a lengthy rehabilitation, constant doctor appointments, physio support and medical advice would put me back on my feet, however my body was unable to revive itself. This has now left me in my current position of being unable to stand, sit or lay down for more than 2 hours at a time.
I look forward to the day that I can get back to being active, play soccer/cricket and complete my electrical apprenticeship with only six months left. I’ve had my fair share of struggles and dark days, but with the strength and support of my family and mates, it has given me a good reason to kick on. I am excited for the future and what is to come, to finally get my life back on track.
This has been a hard decision for me to create this page and as you can imagine without being able to work for over 15 months, money has been very tight trying to cover costs for everyday life plus the ongoing treatments and therapy. These funds are to help cover my medical, surgeries and rehabilitation expenses, it’s a long road ahead but with your generosity it will allow me the time to focus on my recovery and get back to a healthy and happy lifestyle.
