Living in one of the top bike commuting cities in the world unfortunately does not safe guard you from the entrapments of bike related thefts. Having a bike not only Allows for me to get around easier but allows me to continue to do the work that I ‘m involved with in the community through Minnesota Black Riders Association (MBRA) -the grassroots black cyclist movement in the Twin Cities.
I ride my bike not only as the primary means of transportation but also as a tool and key resource for community service. It allows me to prioritize meetings around the city, group rides, food delivery, as well as many other events that have shown to be productive and positive to the black community’s bike movement. Bikes are sacred and I’m able to witness this through a lot of the work I do such as getting free bikes into the hands of people who don’t already possess one or those who’ve gotten theirs stolen. Since my bike was just stolen, there is no way for me to continue this work that I’m very passionate about which is why I am asking for your help. I am grateful for any amount that you are able to help with, whether it be $5, $10, or $20, anything helps. I’m thankful to have acquired the skills of a mechanic and am hoping to use any parts donated to help build a new frame.
Handle bars
seat Pedals
cranks
wheels.
With deadlines fast approaching, I have to set up for "A Little Bicycle Delivery"- A bike courier service that will be operating out of North/Northeast Minneapolis where deliveries will be made within 35mins. Without a doubt, I need my two wheel stallion in order to efficiently complete a job we are all are excited for. Our community is in dire need of this service as there is no bike delivery currently in north Minneapolis nor many delivery services for that matter.
Here are the parts I currently own:
Rear wheel (Pair to my matching front Phil wood Track Hub)
front wheel (Velocity all-City Hub)
Handle bars (Salsa Bar Lap)
seat (Freedom Saddle)
pedals (wellgo)
My bike was taken less than a week ago and there’s still a chance it can be spotted and retrieved somewhere in the city. The last thing I would ask is for folks to be so kind and keep a look out for my stolen bike Here is a description of the bike:
Blue Pake-Red fork-
Profile Design Bullhorn handle bars-
Phil wood front wheel-
Matt black AllCity Cranks-
Deda Stem black saddle-
Black plastic pedals.

I greatly thank and appreciate the community for helping me continue the work of MBRA, to build an intentional black biking community.
Any extra funds raised would either to a reward for anyone who finds my Pake Track bike, a new bike for someone else, or to MBRA for marketing materials and supplies.
