Spende geschützt
Over the past 16 years, Jeremy and Amanda Tyson have devoted their lives to helping hundreds of youth in the Spring Branch/Bulverde community pursue their personal goals and passion for baseball by teaching, perfecting, and polishing their skills. "Lessons" extended beyond baseball instruction, as Jeremy and Amanda mentored and guided these kids to achieve self-confidence, a positive mindset, and a leader mentality. As the owners of Revo Sports, their goal has always been to serve the youth of the community. Jeremy and Amanda will tell you, "To us, Revo is more than a business, it is our mission, and our reason for being. Our 'Revo kids' become like family to us. We take the responsibility of helping mold them into who they become very serious and with big hearts."
As you may or may not know, last year Jeremy was diagnosed with Dystonia, a disabling condition that has made it difficult to continue his passion for instruction...however, you will still find him sitting next to his dad during batting practices, providing instruction to his players and on the field coaching his teams...still pouring himself into our youth. Jeremy's health struggles have placed a majority of the business' responsibilities on Amanda. This is a huge undertaking, in addition to homeschooling their son, Kaige, shuttling Jeremy to and from multiple doctors' appointments, and running Revo's sports camps, all while battling her own autoimmune disorder.
Being a small business owner comes with many challenges, but those challenges are greater when you are limited in what you can do physically and your "job" requires you to be physical. Another added stress is that Jeremy and Amanda are self-employed and don't qualify for commercial group health coverage. Jeremy recently traveled to Houston to undergo a complicated surgery in which they implanted a device in his brain, to ease the symptoms of his condition. As you can imagine, multiple doctor's appointments, diagnostic tests, and surgery are costly and involve a lot of out-of-pocket costs.
Now is our time to give back to the family who have poured so much of themselves into our kids and our community. Thank you in advance for your generosity. We could also use your help in sharing this GoFundMe link with others who may feel compelled to contribute. Again, thank you for being there for Jeremy and Amanda as they work to get back to serving their "Revo kids"!
