On May 29th LCpl Jeremy Thomas took his last breath in San Diego. He was a father, a son, a brother, purple heart recipient and veteran of the United States Marine Corps. His death was unexpected and continues to be an incredible source of heartache as well as a financial hardship. The unexpected expenses of cremation, transportation of ashes to another state, burial plot, cemetery marker, funeral services, and many military related forms for death, have been placed heavily on the shoulders of the Thomas family. For the family, the past two months have been a turmoil of financial stress, making it impossible to properly grieve their loss. Jeremy's parents, Frank and Dana Thomas, have never failed to help their community members. They are very humble and it would be inconceivable to them to ask for help of their own accord. The Thomas's deserve to have the relief from the financial avalanche of unexpected funeral expenses and be able to grieve and say goodbye to their son.
