Jeremy Roberts Transplant Expenses

JEREMY IS OFF THE TRANSPLANT LIST!!Because  by the grace of God he has received his Liver and Kidneys!  All we know about our hero is that she was 20 year old female that died in a trauma accident. Hopefully someday we will meet her family and thank them properly.  Their gift of their daughters organs is unmeasurable. Please donate if you can to help cover the cost of the motel and any travel expenses for Jeremy and his family. Through the grace of God, the flight was covered by two amazing men and their businesses, I will not list them as I do not know if they want to be recognized; but know we are so grateful for your generosity. Jeremy was diagnosed at the age of fourteen with several life-threatening diseases including catastrophic lupus anticoagulant syndrome associated with deep venous thrombosis, recurrent pulmonary embolus, carditis, mitral valve regurgitation, congestive heart failure, renal disease and severe hypogammaglobulinemia caused by Anticardiolipid antibody syndrome. To make this situation worse, he has a hereditary Factor V Lieden. In order for him to live, Jeremy has been given Chemotherapy and IVIG for the past 17 years. Ironically what has saved his life is now taking him away from us. The chemo-Retuxin has now caused antibodies to change into antigens and this has caused his liver to fail- putting him into End Stage Liver Disease. In Dec 2013...Jeremy had to have several kidney biopsies to see why his kidney function was getting so bad...well we found out that he was in 4th stage Kidney failure. .the end of ...his numbers significantly have gotten worse since then...and now Jeremy's Kidney are done...we are to the point where he is doing Dialysis three days  week. Jeremy will hopefully be receiving a dual kidney and liver transplant at the Texas Transplant Institute in San Antonio Texas. Hopefully they will have things under control and they will be able to keep J on the top of the liver and kidney transplant list! But as usually he is like the energizer bunny . Jeremy is taking this as always with the strength and faith of a whole army....he is the strongest young man! The nurses are in awe of the things that he has gone through- and new doctors are saying that he is by far one of the most complicated cases they have ever handled... you know Jeremy he never does anything the easy way.
