Jeremy Reynolds' Family Memorial Fund

Hello, my name is Jeff Dancker and I’m creating the Jeremy Reynolds’ Family Memorial Fund on behalf of his wife, Anya Reynolds. Jeremy and I served together in the United States Marine Corps, he from 2003-2007 and I from 2004-2008. I was lucky enough to have known Jeremy and deploy with him twice.

Jeremy was an infantryman with the Second Battalion, 4th Marines. He deployed three times during his 4 years, two of those deployments being to Iraq. Jeremy served with the utmost loyalty: loyalty to his country and his fellow Marines. If you knew Jeremy, you would have fond memories of his steadfast devotion to the Marine Corps, but also his insanely hilarious way of bringing happiness to even the worst of times. Jeremy would routinely do what he could to make others laugh, and you always knew when he was around. He was the energy in the room; he was the life of the party. Just last week, Jeremy got a pedicure and almost got pink nail polish!

Following Jeremy’s service to our country, he married Anya in 2015. Jeremy and Anya had their son, James in 2019. Jeremy and Anya are also expecting a second son soon, as Anya is 22 weeks pregnant. Jeremy loved being a husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. Jeremy wasn't just each of those titles; he enveloped those titles. He wasn't just an uncle; he was a father figure to his nieces to the point he would be called "Dad" by them. He was the most caring, genuine, loving, and selfless man. He would put everyone first before himself. He loved cooking and probably spent entirely too much money on kitchen knives. He loved traveling and was one of the funniest people you would’ve ever met.

Tragically, a part of Jeremy never returned from Iraq. Jeremy battled with his demons and lost his battle on 12/28/2021.
