Jeremy Magers

The world unexpectedly lost Jeremy Magers on Wednesday, 1/11/2023. He passed away in his sleep. Jeremy was a man full of life and energy. He greeted everyone with a warm smile and spent most of his time helping others. Jeremy was a career firefighter, a captain in the Fort Meade fire department, but his love of his children, his girlfriend, and baseball and softball made him the man he was. Jeremy's life was about his family and friends. He leaves behind his two children, Hunter (19) and Carleigh (17), their mother, Liz, his girlfriend, Sarah and her two children, Drew and Landon, and his parents, Bill and Connie, in addition to numerous co-workers and friends. Jeremy started In the Dirt, a softball and baseball organization in northern Frederick County and served as president of the program for over 5 years. He helped coach the 18UA Urbana Rippers softball team and the Urbana high school softball team. Any donations toward funeral expenses or to help his children as they navigate life without their father is greatly appreciated.
