Jeremy Needs Your Help Fighting Lung Cancer

Hi, my name is Micah Foxx, and Jeremy Knight is my good friend. He is the owner of Burled & Knotted Custom Woodworking. If you've spent any time in the local woodworking scene, you've probably met Jeremy. And if you've met Jeremy, you know that he's got a friendly persona with a large heart for helping others. I can't tell you how many times I've told someone I'm friends with Jeremy to have them respond, "Oh, I love Jeremy! He's a great guy!"

Jeremy's success and dedication as a woodworker has inspired me and many others. A few days ago, Jeremy was having shoulder pain and decided to go to the doctor to get checked out. They took an X-ray and discovered a mass in his lung. After more extensive testing, it was found that he has five malignant masses in his lungs. At his first visit to an oncologist a few days ago, they found three more lumps, and he is awaiting another biopsy. His oncologist informed him that he has stage-3 cancer and, depending on the biopsy results, possibly stage-4. We're all rooting for Jeremy and praying for a full recovery.

I've set our goal at a reasonably high level because we don't know the outcome of everything. We do know that Jeremy will need help covering substantial costs. There are some expenses that his medical insurance won't cover. He'll also surely be out of work for an extended period.

Jeremy is so generous with his time, money, and friendship. I hope folks can find it in their hearts to help get our friend back on his feet and working in his woodshop like the good Lord put him on this planet to do.
