Jeremy “Jerf” Farnham

Wednesday, February 7th Jeremy “Jerf” Farnham tragically passed away in a snowmobile accident. It was one of the darkest days our town and surrounding communities have endured. Jerf's reach was vast. Without even trying, he was somebody to everybody. To know him is to know the very definition of "work hard, play harder". No one worked as hard as Jerf. No one brought laughter to entire towns like Jerf. He was the life of the party, firefighter in his community, sap house connoisseur, mower of the straightest lines, master of unconventional dance moves, turkey call extraordinaire. He was always singing a random jingle, and had a knack for turning the dullest of days into memories that will last our lifetimes. His laughter was more of a perpetual giggle; it touched his eyes and required the use of his whole body. Jerf had a one of a kind soul that radiated to those around him, making everyone simply feel better just being in his presence. He was an incredible father, husband, brother, son and friend. Together we are holding Crystal, Taylan, Ryan, Boomer, and Jen in our hearts as they navigate such a monumental loss in their family, and sharing in the heartache of the countless people who love and mourn the loss of this incredible human being. As a community, let’s come together and help the Farnham family with the funeral costs associated with losing our beloved Jerf.
