Hi my name is Trish and I am doing a go fundme for my brother and his family. On July 21, I received a call from my mom stating my brother Jeremy was working and he suffered a medical event and was being taken to the hospital by ambulance. He was released a few hours later they said he suffered heat stroke and sent him home. While he was home in the night he began vomiting so my sister in law took him back to emergency room where they said he suffered a mild stroke in cerebellum and was admitted. The next morning July 23, he was worse and had another cat scan which revealed he suffered a major stroke in the cerebellum and needed emergency surgery to stop the bleed and swelling. He was flown to Maine Med and underwent a major surgery to his brain. He spent over 2 weeks in Maine Med with multiple cat scans and medication to control his blood pressure. They finally got the blood pressure under control and remove the brain drain and he was able to go to rehab. He completed a week of rehab and was sent home for outpatient rehab. Jeremy is unable to work due to the damage to his brain he has vision issues,mobility issues, and has a long road to recovery. His family is now down to one income and he has 2 teenage sons(17 and 16). I am trying to help raise money to help them during this difficult time and relieve them of some financial burden and stress as we approach the colder months ahead and also help with modifications to his house so its safe for him. Jeremy is not one to ask for help, but he was always willing to help anyone if he could. Please help if you can as I don’t want him to worry about how he is going to keep his home warm this winter for his family. Thank You for showing support for my brother and his family. Trish
