Dear community,
My name is Kate Sinclair, I am trying to help raise funds for a funeral and memorial service for the beloved Jeremy Gino Scott.
Jeremy was born in 1934, he is survived by his wife, 2 brothers and a daughter. Jeremy was an established author with titles including ‘Dancing on Ice’ and ‘Show me a Hero’ .
His memoirs ‘Fast and Louche’ was celebrated and serialised in The Sunday Times, in 2002.
In Jeremy's later years, he enjoyed spending his days at St Luke’s Church, Chelsea, where he would stroll around the rose gardens doing laps of the beautiful grounds and church. He would visit the church daily. Often he would be found in quiet prayer, sitting at the back of the church.
Jeremy was diagnosed with bowl cancer several years ago. Right up until the very end, he would try and remain as mobile as possible, doing laps of the corridors and knees ups by the window. He tried to be as independent as possible. Forever the gentleman, he believed others always deserved help far more than him. He was cared for impeccably by his dear wife and then in his final moments, St John’s Hospice and their wonderful team.
At this devastatingly sad time, please may we ask you for support with helping in his grieving widow fund a simple service and memorial at St Luke’s Church, Chelsea.
