POST #2: Medical Update & fundraising needs:

With the arrival of 2024, Jeremy has a new deductable and an upcoming MRI (Feb 1st) as well as a chemo treatment this week. With that said, the fundraiser is still active and we would cherish your prayers and support.

Medically, Jeremy has gone through a major surgery, several rounds of chemo and radiation and is now using a medical device called Optune, which aids his body in keeping the cancer cells from dividing. That said, he is doing as well as can be expected, has maintained an amazing attitude and trusts the Lord for provision and healing.

With grateful hearts, Jeremy and Jennifer send thanks to each of you who have donated and more importantly to those who have prayed for his complete healing.

As Jennifer states in her FB posts, the family is blown away by the love and generosity of so many and have come to recognize that family is not forged by blood alone but also with the true love & concern exhibited to them through friends, neighbors, clients, collegues and even strangers. The community support has truly been astounding.

Words cannot express the love our family has for Jeremy and Jennifer and our battle will continue in the medical realm as well as in the realm of prayer. Please continue to pray with us as we watch to see God bring the victory.

POST #1: On Father’s Day, Jeremy had a seizure and was found by his 7 year old daughter. After being rushed to the hospital it was determined that he had a tumor on his brain. He was transferred to Ochsner in NOLA where he underwent brain surgery. 

The tumor was found to be malignant and Jeremy will need chemotherapy and Radiation to beat this thing! The family is still in the throws of this medical emergency and many details will follow.

Until then, in our family what affects one of us affects all and in sickness and in health we bind our hearts to those we love! With great concern we ask for your support for Jeremy, his wife Jennifer and their 3 beautiful children as they move through this difficult challenge.
