Hi friends, we are Jeremiah Wilde.
About six months ago we decided to lock ourselves away from the world to create something we could be proud of and that most importantly, our fans could enjoy. With that being said, we've finally finished recording our very first EP. Through this process we were able to cut our budget drastically by self -recording and self-producing our entire project. We found ourselves recording in studios, salons, closets—you name it. During this time we truly stretched ourselves musically and creatively; we're sincerely proud of what we accomplished.
So, this is where you come in. Our finished product needs to be mixed, mastered and pressed to physical copies. We're starting this fundraiser campaign to raise enough funds to have our EP finessed by fantastic hands in Nashville, Tennessee, and producing physical copies for your consumption.
We’re ready to share the end result with you. We want you to experience the music that you, our family, friends, and fans have helped shape by being in our lives in such an influential way. We’re not looking for handouts. We’re not looking for obligations. We simply want to share the music that means the world to us, with you. With your help, the blood, sweat and tears that we put into these songs will come to life.
Who: Both you and us. Together we can make this EP happen. With everything we’ve learned in the process of writing, recording and producing this record, we can’t wait to share the creative joy of bringing music to people.
What: The first Jeremiah Wilde EP is a collection of stories and themes that resonate with each member of the band, and we know it will with you as well. This is a six track EP consisting of songs that have been born out of relationships and experiences. We’ve self-produced and self-recorded everything on our own up to this point; now we want to bring out each songs’ true potential with the services of a professional mix engineer. We also want to be able to master and press some physical copies of our EP so we have something to sell at the shows we’ll be playing to promote this music.
Where: We’ll be sending our tracks to Music City! Nashville is close by our home base of North Carolina and yet far enough away to help us step back and watch this EP grow into adulthood properly. We’ll be working with Eddie Spear (The Delta Saints, Europe, Jack White) to get the proper soundscape for our music.
When: We have about a month to raise funds for mixing/mastering/pressing the album.
Why: These songs need to be heard so they can speak to people the way they were meant to, and they can’t do that sitting on hard drives in our houses. We’ve made a huge effort of doing most of the legwork up front by purchasing recording gear, spending lots of late nights drinking red-bull and getting the perfect takes. We’ve had the help of some pretty great friends already with a location being provided to record all of our drum tracks and vocals, and some guest performances. Proper mixing/mastering isn’t cheap and we need some help from our families, friends and fans to make this dream a reality.
How: Through this GoFundMe campaign, and with your help in spreading the word, we can reach our fundraising goal and begin to shape Love, Marriage and Civil War into the album that you’ve been waiting for. There are some pretty snazzy rewards for backers as well; here are just a few of the cool things we have available:

Risks and Challenges
Timing is always tough. Writing, recording, and mixing an album is not an easy task. The good news is we've already put a lot of work into this EP by recording and producing it all on our own. As many of you know, we’ve been sequestered away at each other’s houses cheering each other on the whole way as each person completed their parts.
We’ve scheduled time at the end of October and we’re counting on your help to finish this project by the end of the year. The biggest risk is having to wait longer to master and press the EP because of lack of funds. As for the rewards, most of them are contingent on getting the EP done. But for
the limited reward options (guitar pedals, private shows, album credits) we can work out something convenient and timely for the band and you.
