Jeremiah's 2025 MS Lions All-State Band Trip

Hi, I'm Jeremiah Johnston, a proud 2-year member of the Mississippi Lions All-State Band.
The Lions Band is composed of the 145 best high school musicians in Mississippi, selected through a rigorous two-round audition process. Being a part of this prestigious group has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, allowing me to travel across the U.S. and the world to perform for the largest audiences I could ever imagine.
In 2023, I had the honor of performing with the band in Washington, D.C., and Boston, MA, during the Independence Day Parade and the 105th Lions Club Parade of Nations. This past June, we traveled to Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, where we performed at an Australian Football League match and the 106th Lions Club International Parade of Nations. These past two years have been life-changing. I've gained a deeper love for music, formed lifelong friendships, and experienced personal growth beyond what I thought was possible by being in this band.
The upcoming summer, following my high school graduation, I have the opportunity to travel with the Lions Band as a 3-year member, this time to Orlando, FL. We'll perform in the Lions Club Parade of Nations and explore the great city of Orlando, including spending time at its various theme parks.
However, I need your support to make this trip a reality. Last year, I used GoFundMe, and through the generosity of friends and family, I was able to travel to Australia.
As we enter the holiday season, I'm reaching out once again for your help. Any contribution, big or small, will bring me one step closer to doing what I love the most and represent Mississippi while doing it. If you are unable to donate, sharing this message would mean the world to me!
