On March 7th, Jeremiah Kaufman was in a traumatic accident while driving his tractor. He has suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently fighting for his life in critical care. Surgery was initially started to stabilize his many broken bones, but the procedure was put on hold due to excessive bleeding. He underwent his second surgery on March 9th. Jeremiah will be in the hospital for several months, with additional time spent in rehab after that. In order to respect the Kaufman's privacy we will wait to share any further medical updates.

I'm reaching out to Jeremiah's friends, neighbors and community members for any support you may be able to provide. This is an incredibly scary time for both him and his family - one made even more difficult by the looming medical costs.

To know Jeremiah is to know a man with a huge heart, always there for his family, friends, and community. This is now our opportunity to be there for him.
