As you may have heard my oldest brother Jeremy was in a severe motorcycle accident yesterday. (Wednesday May 28th 2025)
He was taken by lifeflight to the QE2 in Halifax with severe injuries from scene of accident.
He is currently in ICU intubigated and in an induced coma and they are watching him closely as he has many injuries, the worst being a head and brain injury, aswell as a dvt in his lung and broken bones.
Jeremy is not currently breathing on his own and is intubated and in a medicated coma.
Current known list of injuries
Brain bleed
Dvt in lung
Brain injury
Head trauma/injuries/concussion
X2 breaks in left forearm
Fractures in right wrist/hand
Crushed left hand
Road rash/cuts/bruises multiple places
Fractured knee
Torn acl and mcl
*Jeremy will have multiple surgeries today (Friday May 30th) on his arms and hands to try to repair the breaks/fractures/damages*
I, his sister am asking for any financial help during this horrific time, so that Jeremy can have his family by his side throughout this without additional stress/worry. Our mom Wendy has not left his side since life flight brought Jeremy from scene of accident to QE2.
It will go towards immediate family traveling from the valley to Halifax, possible lodging if we can find something affordable/near the hospital, as well as anything Jeremy needs in the coming weeks and months ahead, as well as any bills in Jeremys name, as bills don't stop when life takes an unexpected turn.
We understand Jeremy is loved and cared about but he is in the ICU and is only allowed immediate family in. Any questions you can reach out to me and I can put you in contact with our mom Wendy.
I understand money is tight for everyone right now, but Jeremy currently has no income as many people are aware he tragically lost his 2 year old son Daxon in September 2018, which caused a lot of trauma which has made it difficult for him to hold down work/navigate life, he finds joy in spending time with his 2 teenaged sons and family. He has a long road ahead of him an ask you keep him in your healing thoughts.
We are aware of rumors and speculation circulating at this time about the accident and ask for you to refrain from this. The police and scene analysis have not spoken out/been released at this time. We also do not know the condition of the occupant of the other vehicle but do hope they are okay and heal.
We appreciate and are grateful to all the first responders who were at the scene and helped care for Jeremy, as well as the medical teams at the QE2.
