My name is Jessica Davis (growing up you all knew me as Jessica Hamrick), and I am Jera Baker’s childhood best friend. I have set-up this GoFundMe on behalf of Jera and her family. Jera has been on a very courageous battle fighting cancer, and unfortunately, her fight is coming to an end very soon. Doctors, along with her family, are sending Jera home with her lifetime best friend and love of her life, Joe, to remain on hospice for the rest of her time on this earth. From what doctors have said, Jera has about 2 weeks to enjoy the quality of her life. Jera has expressed that she would like to be cremated as she currently lives in Pennsylvania and all of her immediate family and friends are in Illinois. Any contribution you can make to help lay Jera to rest and lift a financial burden off of her family during this difficult time is appreciated.
