Friends and Family of Jeremy,

As you may know by now, Jeremy’s brain tumor recurred and he has recently undergone an intense surgery to remove it. This was Jer’s third operation following his 2001 and 2007 procedures. The neurosurgeons were very impressed by his resection and said it couldn’t have gone better. Up next will be a series of chemotherapy treatments over the course of the year. 

 As recommended by specialists, Jer is taking a one-year leave from teaching at DelaSalle. This will allow him the time to focus on his health and regain his strength.

In times like these, it’s hard to know what to say, but showing your support can come in many forms. Phone calls, texts, healthy-food drop offs, fantasy football banter, your friendship, and of course, monetary donations.

To know Jeremy is to love him. Let’s reach deep down in our pockets and pull together funds to ease the minds of Jeremy, Maud and sweet little Eddie (Bug and Stu, too!) so they can focus on recovery, health, and one another.

Together, we can do this. He would do it for us in a heartbeat.
