Marshall Strong!
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Tamara. On December 30, 2022, my nephew, Marshall, was hit by a car while riding his skateboard. He sustained multiple serious injuries including a skull fracture, two brain bleeds, bruised lungs, a fractured tibia, and many bumps, scrapes, and bruises to his body. He is currently hooked up to multiple medications, has a monitor to measure the pressure in his brain, and a drain inserted to drain extra fluid from around the brain. The goal is to keep the pressures down in the optimal range.
Marshall is currently being treated at a Children's Hospital for his injuries. He is medically sedated and intubated while his brain rests and heals.
April will be staying at the hospital for the foreseeable future and has an army of family and friends that want to help.
These funds will be used for things such as food, transportation, and any other expenses related to Marshall's care.
Right now what we need most are prayers and good thoughts. Prayers that the need for drainage and the amount drained decreases with each passing hour. and his ICP (pressure in the brain) stabilizes. We are also in prayer that they can soon address the open wound to his fractured leg (we have to wait for his ICP to stabilize so he can tolerate the procedure.
Marshall is bent and bruised, but not broken. Marshall is strong and we serve an even stronger God. So, if you pray, please pray, send good vibes, or any other positive energy that you can send his way.
Please keep his mom, April in your thoughts as she goes through the hardest days of her life. Please also keep his sister Rozy (twin sister) in your thoughts as she navigates emotions she has never had to navigate.
Please share if you feel inclined. Positive thoughts and prayers are what we really really need at this time.
