Jensen Needs You: Healing After 9 Surgeries

Hi everyone. Those who know my family know what we have been through in the last year. For those who don’t, here’s our story.

On Feb 11, 2024, our lives were changed. Jensen was attacked by a dog; he was bitten three times, with the last bite being the one that seriously injured him. He had a large piece of his scalp ripped off. He was a trooper through all the surgeries; he has had a total of 9 in the last year to repair the damage and get a graft.

Our guy's next step is to have balloons inserted under his scalp and have that stretched so he no longer has a large bald spot. Over the next 2 months, if all goes right, he will have another 6-8 procedures to stretch the scalp and ensure he no longer has a bald spot to be embarrassed by or to get looked at like he does currently. His father and I cannot wait for our boy to have his confidence back. Since he’s so young, it’s been a tough road, and soon enough, we will be at the end.
