Jensen Family - Storm Relief
Donation protected

On the evening of August 10, 2020, a derecho storm, with gusts up to 112 mph, ripped through central Iowa. It smashed buildings, flattened crops, and damaged homes in its path.
The home of Sherilyn Jensen and her 4 boys stood in the way of the storm. While they escaped with just bumps and bruises, their home, shed, camper, and car were destroyed.
Due to an injury, Sherilyn is unable to work and they don't have insurance. I asked Sherilyn about their immediate needs and she said, " Lumberjack chain saw.
Maybe a lumberjack with that. lol."

Currently, they are evaluating whether the home can be salvaged. If it is possible, they will need to repair extensive damage to the living room, back bedroom, garage, and the A-frame of the home. They need a new roof. Estimated damage is upwards of $50,000.

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25
