Jens Løhde Nielsen Memorial Fund

On November 21st 2020 my brother-in-law, Jens, lost his short but courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife, Laurrien and their 2 young sons. Jens was a loving, caring father to his two boys, Thor, 7, and Bjørn, 2. Jens will be missed by all of us who knew him. He brought his adventurous spirit and positive energy many places, from his childhood home in Aarhus , Denmark, to Boston, Greenland and eventually Bali where he met the love of his life.  He loved being a dad, and had planned to someday bring his boys to Denmark, to meet their Danish family and show them where he was born and raised. Sadly, Jens passed away before getting the chance to do this. Jens' unexpected  passing has left his young wife, Laurrien with the burden of both immediate and long-term expenses in caring for their 2 boys. In an effort to come together in support, this page has been set up by caring family to raise funds to assist with his family's current needs, as well as to establish a long-term fund specifically allocated to his children’s future education. Funds collected will be deposited into a single account managed by Jens' widow. Jens' family are grateful for the outpouring of support in helping the children secure a strong foundation as they move forward with loving thoughts and memories of their dad.
