JEN'S breast cancer adventure

Friends & Family- Our family has had many trials with my husband's health, including Cancer, Open heart surgeries and most recently a stroke. We have found ways to help each other and manage the financial and care issues in the last few years. We have persevered with our four children and help from our family and friends! We are truly blessed!! 

I am starting a journey to battle breast cancer. When one battles, the whole family and village battles! The doctors have told me I am looking at 1-2 years to truly treat this type of aggressive cancer called HER2+ and it's ability to spread and return elsewhere in my body. We will face some large out of pocket expenses, regardless of having good insurance. I was working full time, and I am a self employed. I will most likely need more time off than I had expected due to treatments.
