Jenny & Dustin Giese - Help Fund #JennysLIVEList!

Hi, my name is Jill Giese. My brother is Dustin Giese, and his wife/my sister-in-law is Jenny Giese.

Jenny's Story

Jenny is a wonderful person — a terrific wife, a great mom, a giving friend, a fantastic teacher — a true light to everyone around her.

In May 2021, at age 37, Jenny was diagnosed with breast cancer while still nursing their youngest son, Jack. She completed 20 weeks of chemo, then a bilateral mastectomy, then some radiation and oral chemo, and at that point, she was starting to feel pretty good.

Unfortunately, in June of this year, she began experiencing excruciating pain in her lower back. After more tests, Jenny and Dustin learned the cancer had metastasized to her bones and was now stage four — a devastating blow.

The "Live List"

Jenny and Dustin are now focused on a "Live List" — things they can do together as a family to create memories for their boys, ages 2 and 4.

For Jenny and Dustin, Disney World is truly 'The Happiest Place on Earth!' They've been there on every vacation since they've been together and even got engaged there. They took their older son, Henry, to Disney World when he was two — he loved it also!

Jenny's wish is for the family to go again in February and take little Jack for his first time.

KTVB Recognizes Our Hero

Jenny was named a KTVB "Seven's Hero" during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the family and their story was featured on the news.

Maggie O'Mara was introduced to Jenny through her Instagram account @jenny_giese where she has been chronicling her journey as a young mom of two small boys fighting breast cancer.

Since the story aired, many people have asked how they can help.

Disney World is very expensive if you haven't checked in a while! Tickets and lodging are nearly $10k, with airfare and meals on top of that.

I've created this gofundme so anyone who wishes to help can contribute toward this memory-making "Live List" trip for Jenny, Dustin, Henry (4), and Jack (2).
