Jennys Car was smashed and ransacked!! Lets Help!!

Donation protected
Jenny has had a run of bad luck. On February 3rd, she went into a Mall in Santa Ana, California leaving her Bike locked onto the roof rack of her car. When she returned to her car, the cable and lock were cut and her $1800.00 Trek Bike was gone. The police said is was likely that it was taken by one of the many homeless people in the area and the likelihood of it being recovered was pretty much 0. She was hoping that her car insurance would cover it, but only a homeowners policy would offer that kind of coverage.
Last night The phone rang here in NY at 2:30 am. It was Jen. She was traveling to San Francisco for a pre-operative doctors appointment and exited the interstate in Sacramento to get something to eat. (11:00 California time) after parking her car down the street from the restaurant she ate dinner and upon returning to her car, discovered that the windows were smashed out and everything that she had in the car was stolen. (A Large duffle Bag completely full of all of her clothes, including Lu Lu Lemon workout clothes, New Nike’s, jeans, Carhartt items, Dresses, shoes, bathing suits, jackets, undergarments, Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, also a cell phone, music player, Bluetooth devices, all her chargers and cords. Makeup, purse,  pretty much everything that meant anything to her.
When she saw the car was vandalized, she immediately ran street to street trying to catch the person or persons, then called the Sacramento Police. The Sacramento Police would not send a car, because according to the dispatcher, “They will not respond, because “they have better things to do” There she and her dog were, alone in a strange city, in the middle of the night with her windows smashed out and  the person or persons responsible that could have returned at any time to assault her, but the police had “BETTER THINGS TO DO!!!! Unbelievable.......
She estimates the items stolen to be in excess of $2500. Her insurance has a $500. Deductible, which is good only to replace the broken glass. She had to take a hotel until such time as the car can be repaired and she can get back on the road.  $3000. Would help her get back on her feet and any thing over that could be used to subsidize the purchase of a  bike that was stolen a month earlier. Any contributions will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Thank you sincerely in advance for anything you can afford to contribute.
