We are raising money to send a dear friend of ours to the Philippines for a double hip replacement. Jenny is from the Philippines but has lived for most of her life as a domestic helper in Hong Kong. With her salary, she supports her son, Edjon, and extended family back home in the Philippines.

Unfortunately, Jenny was diagnosed with Lupus 10 years ago. As a result of the long term use of steriods for her treatment, her hip bones have begun to erode. She is currently living in constant pain and is in urgent need of the operation. 

The money we raise will be used to pay for a bilateral hip replacement, professional fees, post op care and medication at St. Lukes Hospital in Manila.  Jenny needs the operation as soon as possible, so we'd like to raise the funds by the end of January.

Jenny is someone who is passionate about making a difference to other people's lives and gives so much love to the children in her care. Now that she is in desperate need of help, we would love to give something back to her.
