Jen's Journey: A Family's Fight Against Cancer

Hello everyone, my name is Rylan, and I'm reaching out to you with a plea for help. In April, my beloved wife, Jen, received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with cancer (stage 3 invasive lobular carcinoma). The weight of this news is amplified by the fact that Jen's mother lost her battle with breast cancer just eight years ago. As parents to two beautiful daughters, Louisa (6) and Juliet (4), our hearts are heavy with concern for the impact this journey may have on our family.

We are currently on the middle of the processes of cancer treatments. Our days have been filled with a rollercoaster of emotions as we prepare ourselves for the unknown challenges that lie ahead. Jen has already undergone a mastectomy, but the presence of a positive BRCA gene mutation means she will face several additional surgeries to ensure her long-term well-being after completing chemotherapy and radiation.

As we face these difficult months head-on, the financial strain has begun to weigh heavily upon us. The costs associated with medications, travel, and child care have started to accumulate. Balancing this financial strain has become increasingly difficult as I take on additional responsibilities—managing household tasks, homeschooling our daughters, and caring for our farm animals—all while trying to be the pillar of support Jen needs during her courageous battle. The financial burden has become daunting, threatening to impact the stability and security of our family's future.

Beyond the conventional medical path, we have been exploring additional natural treatment options. These alternatives offer hope for a better outcome while navigating the intense chemotherapy drugs that Jen's doctors have her on.
